415 Yoga Teacher Megan Gathers in San Francisco California.
I met yoga teacher Megan Gathers at the YogaBear benefit last year at YogaWorks on Divisadero Street, San Francisco.
Today she is proud to say that she quit her daytime office job and and teaches private clients, corporate yoga and at yoga studios full time. Students will tell you that she’s known for sharing her passion for yoga in ways that ignite’s them, opening them up, even empowering them. Yoga is Megan’s favorite way to settle into the moment, access joy, and unleash dormant energy.
Megan trained at San Francisco’s Yoga Tree and received her 200 hr certification, recognized under the Yoga Alliance. She holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from California Institute of Integral Studies. She is skilled at encouraging students to learn in different ways – such as kinesthetic, visual, and auditory. Megan is also trained in Thai Massage, which she often uses at the end of class to launch students into blissful savanas. Megan specializes in Private Lessons and Corporate Yoga.
